I'm David. At Permobil I ship features across iOS, Android and embedded software for medical devices, and I look after the CI/CD pipelines and build servers that get them out the door.

Dec 2025 – Present
Application Software Engineer · Permobil
- Core member of the Application Team on new product development, designing and delivering features across iOS, Android and embedded software in a regulated medical device environment.
- Own end-to-end testing and validation, enforcing the quality gates that releases have to pass before production.
- Write and maintain the CI/CD pipeline scripts and YAML configuration behind automated builds for every platform.
- Administer the self-hosted Mac build servers that the iOS, Android and embedded pipelines depend on.
Mar 2025 – Dec 2025
Engineer Intern · Permobil
- Led a month-long shakedown test for a new product, managing a four-person team and earning leadership recognition.
- Built a Python/HTML dashboard that tracks device and OS updates so compatibility testing can start ahead of releases.
- Shipped feature enhancements to the iOS and Android apps and tested legacy and new mobile products for validation.
Oct 2024 – Jan 2025
Test Engineer · Amazon Robotics
- Operated and maintained Proteus and Cardinal warehouse robots, diagnosing faults such as immobile drives, battery issues and package jams.
- Documented unusual robot behavior to feed reliability improvements back into the system.

StatementSense

Import bank statement PDFs and get a clear picture of your finances. StatementSense parses statements from multiple banks, auto-categorizes transactions, and shows monthly spending breakdowns, income vs. expenses, and savings rate.
